Appearance
Light to medium gold with a nice, white, fluffy head, and a little chill haze from the fridge.
Aroma
Floral note hits the nose first followed by a baguette-like bready smell.
Taste
Helles-like malt flavor with some of the biscuit quality in the background and a touch of the oak character with earthiness/woodiness.
Mouthfeel
Refreshing, with a full-flavored mouthfeel from the foudre.
Overall
I could definitely see myself having quite a few of these outdoors at Evil Twin or elsewhere…definitely in warmer weather than right now in NYC. Pair it with light bar fare, nothing too powerful in flavor.
