Dan pops open a new Suarez Family Brewery pale ale, Look No Further, as part of his last shipment until the fall.
Suarez Family Brewery Look No Further
STYLE: American Pale Ale
INGREDIENTS: American malt and hops
ABV: 4.8%
IBU: N/A
AVAILABILITY: 16oz Cans, Draft (Limited)
Stats above taken from the brewery’s can and Untappd.
Appearance
Slightly hazy, yellow-orange in color, with mixed-size bubbles on the white head.
Aroma
Herbal and mineral-like up front, with a faint hop resin note.
Taste
The minerality meets an herbal/tea-like note on the mid-palate, with the malt/hops giving off an orange marmalade vibe.
Mouthfeel
Carbonation is soft, with supple but rounded mouthfeel and a good weight.
Overall
I can definitely see drinking a number of these on a patio for a barbecue before the grill is fired up. Pairing-wise, I’d go for a country-style chicken salad though it could go with a lot of lighter preparations of poultry.
Cheers and remember:
Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry.
