Dan seeks some summertime refreshment with local NYC’s Torch and Crown Brewing Company’s Stoop Beer – Mosaic.
Torch and Crown Brewing Company Stoop Beer – Mosaic
STYLE: American Adjunct Lager
INGREDIENTS: Mosaic dry-hop
ABV: 5.2%
IBU: N/A
AVAILABILITY: 16oz Cans, Draft (Limited)
Stats above taken from the brewery’s can, website, and Untappd.
Appearance
Straw yellow/light gold in color, with a bit of haze and a white, fluffy head.
Aroma
Clean, with a little graininess/corn from the malt bill meeting the citrus and a little bit of dankness from the hops.
Taste
Citrus, herbal, and earthy hop presence meet the graininess that.
Mouthfeel
Light on the palate but also mouth-coating with soft carbonation gliding over the tongue.
Overall
This is definitely for outdoor enjoyment, regardless if it’s a picnic, courtyard, or patio. I had chicken salad for lunch earlier, so that was on the brain, but a classic hot dog and other street food would be tasty with this too
Cheers and remember:
Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry.
